Hello!

I’m Nina — the baker, decorator, packaging expert, photographer, clean-up gal, and of course owner of Treat Yourself Bakery. I am a full-time stay at home mom by day, and part-time “cookier” by night.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and lived there until 2017 when my husband and I uprooted our lives and moved to Sacramento. During this transition, I felt compelled to find a new hobby. I had experience with cake decorating, but something was calling me to cookies. I was horrible at decorating cookies, but with enough practice (and hours of youtube tutorials), I finally got the hang of it. I never expected it to turn into a business, but as soon as I started sharing photos of my cookies on social media, friends, acquaintances, and even complete strangers began reaching out to me wanting to order cookies. A few months later, Treat Yourself Bakery was born.

We now live in El Dorado Hills with our two children. Even though my new full-time role is mom, I still have a passion for cookies and I love that something so simple can bring so much joy to others.
